1. Product Introduction

 

This is aluminum foil tape. It uses aluminum foil as the base material, with pressure-sensitive adhesive coated on one side. It has a metallic luster aluminum foil color in appearance, thin and light but tough. Its core features are heat insulation, waterproof and moisture-proof, and good sealing. It’s mainly used in pipelines, home appliances, construction and other scenarios that require heat insulation or sealing.

 

There are several types: linerless aluminum foil tape, regular aluminum foil tape, thickened aluminum foil tape, fiberglass aluminum foil tape, and aluminum-plated film aluminum foil tape.

 

- Linerless aluminum foil tape: Uses aluminum foil as the base material, no release liner, and is directly rolled up by its own adhesive layer.

- Thickened aluminum foil tape: Uses thickened pure aluminum foil as the base material, no other composite layers, and improves performance only by thickening the aluminum foil.

- Fiberglass aluminum foil tape: Uses aluminum foil + fiberglass cloth as the base material; the fiberglass cloth as the middle reinforcement layer combines the characteristics of both.

- Aluminum-plated film aluminum foil tape: Its core structure is "film base material + surface aluminum-plated layer + aluminum foil layer".

- Width: 45mm, 50mm, 100mm (customizable).

- Length: 16m, 18m, 40m, 80m (customizable).

- Single-layer thickness:

- Linerless aluminum foil tape: Generally 0.06mm-0.08mm.

- Regular aluminum foil tape: Common thickness 0.05mm-0.1mm.

- Thickened aluminum foil tape: Usually above 0.15mm.

- Fiberglass aluminum foil tape: 0.15mm-0.19mm.

- Aluminum-plated film aluminum foil tape: Generally 0.055mm.

- Inner diameter of paper core: 76mm.

- Color: Silver.

 

3. Application Scenarios

 

- Linerless aluminum foil tape: Suitable for automated assembly line operations. No liner, thin and light, saves the process of tearing paper, improves pasting efficiency. It’s suitable for temporary fixing and shielding of electronic components, local heat insulation, etc.

- Regular aluminum foil tape: Universal type, used for thermal insulation wrapping of pipelines (water pipes, heating pipes) and sealing of range hood exhaust pipes.

- Thickened aluminum foil tape: Thick and tough, suitable for thermal insulation protection of high-temperature pipelines of industrial equipment (such as boilers, chemical pipelines).

- Fiberglass aluminum foil tape: High-temperature resistant and stretch-resistant, used for sealing in high-temperature scenarios (such as ovens, fireplace flues) and fixing of building exterior wall insulation layers.

- Aluminum-plated film aluminum foil tape: Low cost and lightweight, suitable for the packaging industry (such as food vacuum packaging, moisture-proof of gift boxes).
